Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Taylor R — 21 Oct 2008
I not sure if I should count myself lucky or unlucky but I grew up with STV and watched it so many times as a kid that nostalgia can push aside all of the grievances that most people slate it for. Shatner on an ego-trip, Uhura's fan dance, the poor special effects - blah blah blah.
It was a fun Trek movie for me as I grew up and it will always remain that way. That being said though, when compared to the others it is one of the least impressive efforts.
