Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Anthony K — 28 Apr 2009
Probably my least favorite of the "Kirk and crew" films, but still watchable during those Star Trek marathons...lol...I enjoyed the personal moments between Bones, Kirk, and Spock, and I like the factor of bringing Spock's long-lost brother into the picture.
It was the whole "theme" of the movie that was kind of lame. Pretty much it was traveling across the galaxy to find God on some planet!!!...I know, it's like, "Whaaaat?"...Turns out that it wasn't him.
..lolol...But it brought the seriousness back to the films that help deliver that good-ol' Star Trek drama and character development.
