Were it not for solid acting performances, this movie would be almost as bad as Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Ridiculous storyline. Horrible depiction of 'God'. Shatner's envy of Nimoy's directorial success is well founded.
Nimoy can direct. Shatner can't.
