Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Darryl C — 02 Jan 2011
Worst Star Trek film ever. If there was any installment you want to show someone to turn them off Star Trek, this would be it. Sluggish pacing, ridiculously inconsequential plot, inconsistent characterisations and lame dialogue.
Th effects are also just downright embarrassing due to budget problems. William Shatner must never be allowed to write and direct ever again. One star accorded for Uhuru doing a seductive diversion dance.
