Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Gary M — 02 May 2011
Shatner co-wrote and directed this one... so you can't really expect very much. It was very light hearted and half of the movie was spent "developing the characters" which we have known and loved for years. The script was crap and so was some of the filming. There was only one good shot, when all 4 characters stepped off the shuttle. That's it.
Might have worked for television but not for the big screen.
