Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by John L — 25 Aug 2011
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, is a Star Trek film that base off the idea of search for god. The plot is pretty much the Enterprise is taken hostage by a Vulcan cult leader to go to the center of the universe.
This film is not all that good. The opening scene is actually quite interesting when we first see the Vulcan leader. Everything after that slowly falls apart. The humor in this film is cheap and tries to rip off The Three Stooges.
The ending for this film felt awkward and just did not work. The direction for the most part was weak as it was directed by William Shatner. This is a Star Trek film that not worth watching and simply is not that good.
