Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Ben R — 22 Mar 2009
A lackluster, far-fetched plot (Spock's half-brother hijacks the Enterprise on a quest to find the Almighty?) and lackluster villain (Christopher Lloyd's 'Kruge' from ST III was much better IMO) really drag this movie down.....however it's paced fast enough I think to where it can be enjoyed if you don't take it too seriously.
Interesting Trivia: Brian Thompson ('Capt. Klaa') played a much more enjoyable villain in 1984's "Cobra" with Sylvester Stallone.
