That's it? That's what you've been complaining about all these years? It wasn't half bad. Hell, I preferred it to Star Trek: The Motion Picture by a mile. This one may have been riddled with unanswered questions, but it kept me entertained throughout. There's a lot of nice character interaction, the plot concept is brilliant and there's a fair amount of humour. I'm happy to go on record as someone who genuinely liked it.
Personal enjoyment: 6/10.
Actual quality as a film: 5/10.
