Okay, I know this one's a mess! The story idea could have been very compelling. But, the cut rate visual effects especially mess this one up. Also, Shatner's unsure direction and shaky script don't help things.
However, thank gosh Jerry Goldsmith gets to return and deliver an excellent film score!
