Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Robin M — 09 Jun 2009
This film had an interesting premise, but the deeper ideas of faith and religion just aren't explored. There is also an odd dose of juvenile humor and an implication that Scotty and Uhura are lovers that is really weird.
The ending is also really odd; had things delved a bit deeper into a religious discussion, I could've liked it, but sadly, the whole film falls flat.
