Review of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) by George K — 22 Jul 2009
A long time in the making this film relaunched the Star Trek concept and picked up a new audience. Granted, it's a bit slow, but the special effects are extraordinary. All characters return to save the galaxy once again.
This film didn't play well with the critics and seldom gets the credit it deserves.
