I'll let the Pros and Cons speak for themselves.
Cons:
-Too long.
-Too slow.
-Too predictable.
-Too much focus on special effects.
-Not enough focus on the plot.
-Not enough focus on how much excitement viewers need to stay awake.
-Spock's voice was scaring the heck out of me.
-We know what the Enterprise looks like--we don't need to see it from 17 different angles in one scene (yes, I was so bored, I counted).
