Not as bad as people think. Real slow pacing gets on nerves at times, but I prefer this over 2001 Space Odyssey. Though I see people have different preconceptions for a 'Star Trek' film over 'Stanley Kubrick's Sci-Fi Experience.
' Gorgeous looking, laced with Jerry Goldsmith's masterpiece soundtrack make this more engrossing than montages of floating space objects with music accompaniment. Still frustrated how much it stretches the plot of a rather standard Star Trek episode.
