Not the best film in the "Star Trek" franchise, but well worth watching--especially the 2000 Director's Cut, which includes deleted scenes, better editing, and additional footage with improved special effects. The recent DVD release of the Director's Cut is especially impressive in widescreen format with digital enhancement.
