Review of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) by Chad D — 18 May 2013
My least favorite of the classic Star Trek series, The Motion Picture brings little to the screen that wasn't found in the classic original series. At times the film seems dragged out and also seems to lose track of where its going (mainly the 20 minute scene of the crew not saying anything and the Enterprise moving through the innards of the giant aline entity).
More boring than entertaining, Star Trek: The Motion Picture leads to a series that is amazing, but lets fans down by itself.
