Review of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) by Movie G — 22 Aug 2011
Though the drawn out visual sequences seem to drag the film down, I put myself in the shoes of a Trekkie seeing the Enterprise for the first time on the big screen in 1979 and understand the reason behind them.
It certainly looks good, and they just don't make those swelling musical scores like they used to, do they?
