As Star Trek films go this one delivers a great story and bonus--an allegory of the ethics and perils of cloning. At the moral center of this film is the debate about cloning, a hot topic when the film was released, and concurrently a treatise on what it truly means to be human.
Don't lose the message in the adventure.
