Review of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) by Eric H — 17 Apr 2009
Firstly - Star Trek (with Jean Luke Pickard) is enjoyable. In any shape or form, in the end, I shall feel entertained. Patrick is half the reason I enjoy this era of Star Trek so much.
The best thing about this film was the soundtrack. That theme song has to be one of the best.
The script is disappointly repetitive and predictable (except for Data's heroic act in the end). One thing that annoys me, was that Data, one of the coolest Star Trek characters ever - died, and the acting was so horrible that it seemed as if nothing had happened. Uncool.
Otherwise it is a repeat of previous Star Trek films with different characters, places, names etc. Nothing new. Moderately fun yet dissappointing.
