Review of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) by Lou B — 10 Jul 2009
It's on my favourites list solely because I followed the whole franchise and that's all. Four words. What. Were. They. Thinking? Plot was at best thin (a good deal moreso than Brent Spiner's makeup, which they seemed to have applied with a trowel).
Dialogue was ok. Cast. Let's face it, I love those guys but they were just getting too damn old. The whole thing had the air of a trek-pastiche, and not an awfully good one; of ideas left over from previous films cobbled together to provide one last outing for the Next Gen crew.
Bit sad, really.
