Review of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) by Joe A — 08 Nov 2009
While it's true this film is derivative of previous, better Trek films and the formula is getting a bit stale, I still find it entertaining enough and far better then "Insurrection" which preceded it.
The final film before J.J. Abrams brilliantly reinvented the franchise, finds the Enterprise crew facing a younger Romulan created clone of Picard who has devised a doomsday weapon and plans to destroy earth with it.
Good SPFX, well made and enjoyable enough if you don't get your hopes up for another "Khan" or "First Contact".
