Review of Star Trek: Nemesis (2002) by President P — 26 Jun 2013
The final film to feature the cast of The Next Generation, Nemesis, at times can be a good send off, but at times feels like no one cared. The story is very good, but the acting, writing, and direction is painfully average at best.
The film feels like it knew this was the end and had the "why bother" attitude. Nemesis does fall into the relm of clichéd end the series with action, which can work or not work, but here falls into the middle.
Nemesis isn't great, but not horrible as both Tomatometers may suggest. Don't get me wrong it's nothing special and has plenty of flaws, but as the final film for The Next Generation, it's not that bad.
I give it a 3/5 and barely fresh.
