Leonard Nimoy wraps up the action/drama-ridden story arc that began in Star Trek II with something much lighter - a time travel-based comedy. Arguably Trek's biggest mainstream success.
Kirk and co. try to blend in with 1980s San Francisco while they search for extinct humpback whales, encountering Cold War paranoia, punk rockers, and money.
