Review of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) by Stuart G — 13 Sep 2008
This is one of the better Star Trek films. It had a pretty good and believable scenario.
All the cast we're on top and very humorous form. There were lots of great funny scenes including the Punk on the Bus who gets nerve pinched which was Spock on great form.
This film had charm and I like it every time I watch it. Whats ironic is you don't see much of the USS Enterprise in the film but in essence it is the original bridge crew in 80's San Fransisco which I think is bizarre and hilarious. The story is pretty dark but over shadowed by the light humor.
This is one of my favourite Trek films, and it's certainly worth a watch :).
