The flick is a bit preachy, but the fish out of water element of taking the crew of the USS Enterprise and dropping them in 1986 is pretty funny. Don't get me wrong though: this film is not the typical Star Trek fare and I can see why hardcore Trekkers would dislike it.
Still, it is great to see the characters doing different things, including "searching for nuclear wessels!" hehehehe.
