Review of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) by Steve G — 19 Sep 2010
A delightful blend of comedy, and action. The Star Trek series has always been a favourite of mine as it represents the best parts of humanity. While this may not contain the hard hitting serious tones we see in Khan, it does provide some interesting commentary upon the environment and how we treat it.
The only downside to this film is a mildly annoying supporting role by Catherine Hicks. Other than that it takes the series to a whole new frontier.
