Is this a comedy??? there are real moments in this when im not sure if im watching star trek or police academy (escape from hospital scene). the story is the most ridiculus thing ever with a giant space turd trying to contact whales, kirk back in time and then beaming whales aboard to bring them to the future and save the world.

.. all the while they simply walk into government strong holds and Bones is a classic asshole.
