Review of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) by Michael H — 25 Nov 2008
The moment it kind of all went wrong. This is a fun movie and the comedy sequences are cute. But it's not a satisfying conclusion to the II-III-IV trilogy, which it clearly wants to be. It's clear, here, that the actors are all now just cashing their checks and relishing the chance to be out in some fresh air.
In essence, it's kind of entertaining, but it's product.
