My least favorite of the original series crew, this was Trek for the masses or "Trek lite". Much like Star Trek 11 (2009), it ignores many things that made Trek great and goes for silly laughs.
I usually only watch the beginning and ending of the film, and ignore the part in the 20th century. It's painful to watch for me. I would gladly watch any of the original series movies over this one.
My least favorite "real" Trek movie and my next to least favorite over all.
