Review of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) by Anna M — 10 Apr 2012
The lightest and most comedic entry but with a strong heart at it's core. Has a great sense of fun and the humour hits home every time without losing narrative momentum. Catherine Hicks and Shatner share great chemistry and the rest of the cast are also allowed to run riot and poke fun at themselves but the movie works because it never tips into full parody.
A rollicking adventure and another perfectly fine entry in the classic film series.
