Was this as good as JJ Abrams first Star Trek? In some ways it's better in others it's just as good. The acting is solid. The plot is weak at times. I'm also over seeing Spock Prime show up; I think it downplays Zachery's Spock a little.
Overall it is a fun Trek and I hope they continue with a third...
