Review of Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) by Clint A — 28 Feb 2008
I can only imagine how many girls became Star Trek fans because of this film.
But regardless of that fact, it's a surprisingly good film. It's definitely a lot more character driven than many of the previous films.
And how often do the heroes and the villain break into a song during an intense fight scene?
Besides Grease...
And Little Shop of Horrors...
If only Picard and the Borg Queen had sung, "Don't go breaking my heart!" in the previous film.
Anyways, Joan Rivers really didn't really give a good performance as the villain in this movie. Her facial expressions were flat and lifeless...
It was Joan Rivers wasn't it?
