Review of Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) by Dave C — 06 Jan 2009
Firmly in the Middle as far as Quality Goes. As a follow-up to First Contact, Insurrection is dull, on it's own and compared to the two other TNG movies, it was well-made and highly entertaining despite some really awkward moments, yeah, the sad attempts at humor, the worst was Jonathan Frakes being kittenish, creepy.
Despite casting two first-rate actors as the villians, F. Murray Abraham and Anthony Zerbe were pretty disappointing, whom the both of, could had much better. Also Insurrection featured the oddest line of dialogue ever in Star Trek, no small feat I might add: "Have you noticed how your boobs have started to firm up?".
I think I'd review this one for what it's worth.
