Review of Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) by Ollie W — 09 Mar 2011
A more gentle and leisurely paced addition to the generally successful Star Trek movie franchise. Dealing with various predictable political and moral issues as always, but without the high-octane tension of its predecessor. However, what it lacks in tension - it makes up in humour and satisfaction.
A pleasant and formulaic entry to the series that has enough mad-cap happenings and amusingly self-aware moments to carry it.
