Review of Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) by Krys K — 28 Jun 2008
For all Generations had plot holes to make swiss cheese blush, at least it was fun. This fountain of youth story should have been fun, but was just ridiculous. The Federation consorting with pirates, and it backfires.
Seriously, if this actually happened I'd expect the next thing to happen would be the Federation to break up in outrage. Civil war possibly. Its just silly and pointless. You can delete it from Star Trek history for all I care.
If this had been an episode of Star Trek, it would have disappeared as the much better, stronger ones came to the fore.
