Review of Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) by Christopher C — 09 Dec 2009
Despite the mixed reviews...I'm on the side of those who liked it. The storyline was interesting. The TNG crew must save a planet where the Ba'ku people haven't aged in 300+ years from a horrible looking character named Ru'afo and a renegade admiral played by Anthony Zerbe (He's still Mervin Wendell from the NBC mini-series Centennial to me!) My favorite storylines from the film: Picard's love interest with a Ba'ku woman played by Donna Murphy and Geordi's brief return of his normal eye sight (courtesy of the Ba'ku's planet's metaphasic radiation).
I really enjoyed this film and look forward to watching Nemesis!
