Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Jonathan H — 06 Aug 2008
A bit of a comedown after the brilliance of Part II, whilst still good fun it seems a bit hollow. Still has good parts, namely the setpieces involving the stealing and destroying of the Enterprise. The parts with Spock growing up and the final scenes on Vulcan are a bit dull, especially after Kirk kicking Klingon ass.
This film does miss Spock and although Nimoy does a good job behind the camera, he is needed in front much more.
