Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Justin M — 21 Jun 2009
Essentially this movie was 2 hours of "You know, Spock really was awesome. Let's all throw away our careers in Starfleet to get him back through some hackneyed Deus ex Machina designed to retcon his death out of the series". Also, I've yet to see an original series Trek movie in which there is more than one ship in Starfleet. The Enterprise always seems to be the only ship in the area, and the other ships are either taken over by bad guys (Khan) or simply don't work.
Oh, and Christopher Lloyd? Worst. Klingon. Ever. Great Scott, the Federation! Activate cloaking devices!
