Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Jeff B — 02 Jul 2009
Watchable, but way weaker than the first two. It's got the adventure, but I thought the villain was kinda weak (despite being played by Christopher Lloyd). The cheese seeps in a little more than usual in this one, as the supporting cast is pretty bad (i.
E. everyone that's not in the crew). The themes of the story and the strong friendship of the Enterprise crew is put on display here nicely, and that is what keeps you watching. Directed by Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy.
