Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Tori D — 10 Nov 2009
I don't know what people have against this one. Sure, it has its minor flaws, but they're only minor. All in all, I think it has a great tone and acts as a great chapter to the 'trilogy'.
It concludes the open ends of Wrath of Khan, and stays consistent with a dark/somber attitude, ending with an upbeat tone that makes way for the revival of the classic adventures of the crew of the Enterprise.
As well, moments such as the death of David, and the destruction of the Enterprise are well on par with those from Khan. Oh yeah, and Christopher Lloyd is an awesome Klingon. 'Nuff said.
