Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Manuel A — 21 Nov 2009
One thing I noticed with the series as it progressed is that it increasingly looked better as time wore on. From the absolutely atrocious costumes and sets of the first film, to the spartan and honestly cheap looking lighting of the second movie, now finally to some splash of colour here and there.
Apart from that the movie is as good a sequel as can be expected from the rather terrific wrath of khan. Lloyd is of course miscast but I don't know why this film is so derided.
