Solid Trek has a nice mixture of action, laughs, wonder, special effects geewhiz, and tragedy to keep the franchise moving. A few scenes are real yawners, but hey...this Star Trek, it's supposed to be a little dorky.
Best sequence: the kidnapping of the Enterprise.
