Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Senor C — 26 Nov 2011
W/ Search For Spock I have now seen all of the Star Trek movies. I would put this 3rd entry about 3rd in the Star Trek sega behind Wrath of Khan & First Contact. Picking up where Wrath of Khan left off you really need to watch that movie first.
Hell maybe even in the same sitting. Kirk & a skeleton crew steal the Enterprise & head out to find Spock who gave his life @ the end of part 2 & was launched into space. I thought it was hilarious that they thought Bones was crazy but in reality Spock had mind melded w/ him.
Really note worthy in the series as it gives you the basis of Kirk hatred of the Klingons as they kill his son..really fun to see Christopher Lloyd as a Klingon too.
