Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Bryce B — 20 Jun 2010
STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN (thankfully) takes the crew of the original Enterprise in the right direction with great action sequences and a classic revenge plot straight from Melville. Ricardo Montalban makes Khan the most memorable and endearing of the Star Trek villains, and Capt, J.
T. Kirk's William Shatner actually manages to act above his usual caliber. With great pacing, a memorable story, and a moving, almost tear-jerking ending the second STAR TREK feature manages to be a solid, sci-fi flick that has enough substance to appeal to general movie goers, and enough Trek nostalgia to keep Trekkies happy.
