Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Nate H — 23 Aug 2010
So this is regarded as, like, the peak of Star Trek. I dunno, I never found it to be better than quite good. Kirk and crew meet up with an old villain from the television series. He is, at least, memorable.
The Kirk and son story isn't entirely original however, and while the Genesis device is interesting the movie doesn't really feel epic until the conclusion and epilogue. That said, Spock's death and funeral pack quite an impact.
