Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Jack M — 29 Apr 2012
More than simply a perfect "Star Trek" film, "The Wrath of Khan" is a perfect movie for any and all audiences. From score, to production design, to a masterful performances by all members of the cast, and Meyer's incredible direction, the entire picture, steam to stern, is a piece de resistance of filmmaking.
With too many classic moments and lines to be repeated here, to the epic, sprawling story and setting, "Star Trek II" gets it right from start to finish. Putting forth the new standard for the series and the genre, it gets top marks, and is an all-time ideal for film.
