Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Shawn E — 20 May 2012
People always give a weird look when I say this is one of the best films of all time. I'm used to it by now...people automatically label Star Trek as something geeky and not worthy of greatness (and they would be right for a majority of the things bearing the Star Trek name).
HOWEVER, I also assume that they give me that look because they have not seen this truly great movie. To a Star Trek fan, this is pretty much their wettest dream. To someone who doesn't know the difference between a Vulcan and a Klingon...it's a surprisingly entertaining film.
Even if you don't like Star Trek, give this movie a try...it stands alone as the best film of the Star Trek series and certainly a classic movie by itself.
