Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Baurushan J — 26 Jun 2012
Now to be honest I haven't watched any Star Trek films at all, nor seen the shows, nor the latest J.J. Abrams movie from 2009 so I had so expectations when looking forward into the Untitled Star Trek sequel that is coming out in 2013.
This is the first Star Trek movie I have ever watched and to be even more honest, I haven't seen The Motion Picture either. This was the first ever Star Trek experience for me as it was the most praised film ever so it took me quite a long time to catch this film and now I have got the chance to watch it so.
This is my review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!! The story is about Captain James Kirk played by William Shatner and his crew who are off to a rescue mission to save a crew of a damaged ship until one of Kirk's old enemy KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!! crosses their path.
What I liked about this movie is that unlike other sci-fi movies, this movie was unique. It explored the deep parts of outer space and the galaxy, it explored how the character would act out there, the villain KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!! himself was threatening, the music was top-notch sci-fi standard and finally who can forget Leonard Nimoy as Captain Spock and when he died one of the most memorable deaths in the movie history.
Thanks to Leonard Nimoy's return who in the first place didn't want to return to a sequel but then decided to because his character had a dramatic death scene in it. James Horner's music is added to it and he plays bagpipes, fucking bagpipes during his funeral.
This movie was wonderful, magnificent and sparkly like the stars in outer space and has all the respect it gets. Star Trek II: The Wrath Of KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!! gets a decent 10/10.
