This is a cool movie, but why it should automatically be everyone's favorite, I don't know. The Motion Picture is more sci/fi and has a cooler ambience. The Voyage Home is more enjoyable. The premise to The Undiscovered Country is stronger.
This movie has a cool villain, I guess. Still, it's not noticeably better than those other movies.
