Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Avery C — 19 Jan 2013
This is the quintessential Star Trek movie. We once again see Kirk (now admiral Kirk) going for round two against the vengeful Khan. Not only do you get the famous William Shatner line "Khaaaaaaaaan!", but you also get the return of the great Ricardo Montaban reprising his famous role of "the-greatest-Star-Trek-villain-ever", Khan.
This movie has it all. It has great cinematography, good dialogue, fun special effects, terrific performances, a well-crafted story, and a truly sad ending (a "man-tear" moment,if you will).
There are so many things to enjoy here. This is one that never gets old. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan truly earns the title of "greatest Star Trek movie". And in my opinion, it is and will always be.
