Review of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) by Jon L — 23 May 2013
Superb sequel to "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", improving on that film in every way, thanks to restoring the humor & affection the characters had for each other while giving them a great villain to face in Khan (played brilliantly by the late, great Ricardo Montalban).
While the plot holes are more obvious after repeated viewings (an awful lot of coincidences happen to get the Enterprise to cross Kahn) once the pieces fall in place, you have not only one of the best science fiction films ever made but still the best "Star Trek" movie to date.
